**WHAT TO EXPECT**
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Belgium office, you will be supporting all aspects of new product launch and growth initiatives and manage all products from commercialization phase into end-of-life process.
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be conducting Voice-of-Customer (VOC) interviews and feeds customer desires into internal organization through customer visits, industry association participation, and competitive research.
- You'll be continually analyzing and interpreting customer questions, requirements, or problems.
- You will be driving European New Product Development process for the V-belt product line to achieve desired results. Ensure that feature, quality, and cost objectives are reached and that schedules are kept.
- Your goals will be preparing required Market Launch materials, document product specs, strategy, plans, and training needs.
- You'll be supporting a commercial team with top-line accountability for the product line, including planning and managing proper organizational support for major customer orders and resolving backlog situations with Sales & Operations Planning and Operations to achieve financial and other operating metrics.
**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- Developing and coordinating marketing communications materials for Industrial V-belts in Europe, internal and external - in coordination with global and other regional communication efforts.
- Maintaining current knowledge and expertise of product engineering technologies, new product designs, competitor capabilities and practices, market conditions, and market channels in order to develop short and mid -term plans and strategies that ensure sales and market share success. Responsible for defining regional competitive landscape for Replacement and First Fit (OEM) markets.
- Supporting the preparation of effective quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation for the sales of V-Belt and broader Power Transmission portfolio.
**ABOUT YOU**
- You are experienced in European rubber manufacturing or related industrial business
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business or Marketing from an accredited institution required;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and graphical representation of large data sets.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high quality executive-ready presentations
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence across multiple levels within the company and locations; including establishing global partnerships.
