To strengthen our company growth, we are looking for a **Business Development Manager** that will focus working in 3 industries: Retail, Utilities and Life Sciences.

**Your role**

In your role as “Business Developer New Business,” you will be responsible for business development and building long-term relationships with new customers.
- You will mainly be active in the Flanders/Brussels region.
- You will focus on matching the right IT profiles / solutions with the needs of your customers.
- You will constantly identify where organizations need temporary or structural IT expertise and proactively respond to this by proposing suitable consultants.
- You are a self-starter who, thanks to your strong drive and professional approach, is able to identify customers' IT needs at all times.
- You will engage with prospects to identify and clarify strategic technological needs in the field of IT.
- You can count on the support of technical experts for the further implementation of your projects, whom you know how to inspire and motivate in the right way.
- You follow your projects closely and meticulously, because you are the main point of contact for your client.
- You actively listen, understands and uses the information gained from the dialog
- You ask targeted questions and get to the heart of the matter
- You use storytelling or imagery to stay in the customer's mind
- In time, you build up a broad network within the adesso group

**Your profile**
- You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in IT consultancy / solution sales.
- You have affinity with one or more of the adesso offerings (DXP, Application Modernization, Go2Cloud, Data&AI, Security, Business Solutions (ERP, CRM))
- Networking and closing deals with prospects gives you energy & satisfaction.
- You enjoy making new contacts and already have a network of IT decision-makers.
- You have a proven track record of successful deals and you know the market, the trends, the competitors, and where the opportunities lie.
- You are a self-starter who can handle a healthy dose of stress.
- You think in terms of solutions rather than problems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You are bilingual (NL/FR) and can express yourself fluently in English.
