**Claims handler**

We are looking for a claims handler for one of our clients in the insurance sector : a prestegious broker’s office located in Brussels with good access to public transport routes.

**Your responsabilities as a claims handler**

a claims handler, you will be in charge of:

- Receiving and reviewing information related to new claims directly with clients
- Investigating and assessing insurance claims to determine compensability
- Maintaining, updating and following-up on claims files
- Assigning cases to contractors when necessary
- Managing any adhoc claims tasks efficiently

Being the mediator between clients, insurers and experts, you are able to maintain efficient communication and manage correspondance effectively. You are also able to ensure satisfaction of the broker and client and a fair claim settlement.

**Your profile as a claims handler**
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related topic
- You have a first experience as a claim adjuster or in the insurance sector
- You are a great listenner and negociator but you also have an analytical mind and are customer-oriented
- You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the other language
