As a post-death claims handler, you'll be responsible for coordinating and effectively managing all the steps required to process claims arising after the death of policyholders.
**Description**
- You communicate with various stakeholders, including notaries, family members, probate officials and municipal authorities, to facilitate the claims settlement process.
- You will compile and verify the completeness of files, collecting all the documents required to process claims after death.
- Coordinate contacts and interactions between stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient communication throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies throughout the claims handling process, ensuring that all procedures are followed appropriately.
- Resolve any disputes or problems that may arise during claims settlement, taking a proactive and collaborative approach to finding solutions.
**Profile**
- You have a master's or bachelor's degree in insurance, law or finance.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
- You have a good knowledge of French or Dutch.
- You have the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively to meet claims processing deadlines.
- You demonstrate an ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, showing resilience and the ability to manage stress.
- You have strong organizational skills and an eye for detail to ensure the integrity and completeness of the files handled.
