Over de klantOnze klant is een beursgenoteerde marktleider binnen logistiek en industrieel vastgoed. Ze ontwikkelen, verwerven en beheren grote magazijnen en distributiecentra voor een brede waaier aan klanten: van internationale retailers en e-commerce spelers tot productiebedrijven, logistieke dienstverleners en zelfs automotive.De organisatie werkt met sterke landenteams binnen Europa en combineert de stabiliteit van een gevestigde speler met daarnaast een ondernemende en zéér mensgerichte cultuur. De afgelopen jaren is hun portefeuille sterk gegroeid en ook voor de toekomst hebben ze tal van heel knappe projecten in de pipeline. De sterke groei van de organisatie zorgt ervoor dat er nood is aan meer uniformiteit, betere data, sterkere rapportering en een manier van werken die schaalbaar is over alle landen heen - op groepsniveau. De Project Development Director Europe is een nieuwe functie binnen de organisatie. Doel van de rol is de landen te verbinden, de Project Development Strategie verder te professionaliseren én daarnaast duurzaamheid en innovatie structureel verder te verankeren binnen de organisatie en de projecten. Over de rolAls Project Development Director Europe ben je verantwoordelijk voor de overkoepelende werking van Project Development over de landen heen. Je brengt een duidelijke structuur in de manier waarop projecten worden voorbereid, ontworpen en gerealiseerd. Je vertaalt strategische thema's zoals ESG, Climate Action, BREEAM en moderne bouwtechnieken naar praktische standaarden die toepasbaar zijn in elk land.Je volgt de grote projecten over de landen heen op, stemt af met de lokale Project Development Teams en werkt nauw samen met Business Development bij internationale dossiers. Je staat in direct contact met grote klanten, de lokale Project Development Teams, de Country Managers en het Executive Committee. Deze rol heeft zowel een strategisch als een operationeel karakter: je bouwt een schaalbare manier van werken uit, maar staat daarnaast dicht bij de projecten om te weten wat er nodig is in de praktijk. In deze rol rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de COO. Jouw profiel • Master in bouwkunde, industrieel of burgerlijk ingenieur, architectuur of een vergelijkbare technische richting. • Ruime ervaring met grootschalige en complexe projecten in logistiek, industrieel en/of commercieel vastgoed. • Ervaring in een internationale context is een sterke plus. • Ervaring binnen Project Development is een must. • Je hebt actuele kennis van moderne bouwtechnieken, energie- en duurzaamheidsnormen, CO2-reductie, gasloos bouwen, ... • Sterke managementskills: je kan teams coachen en beïnvloeden, ook zonder formele hiërarchie. • Comfortabel in change management binnen een groeiende, internationale context. • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van Frans is een plus. • Bereidheid om regelmatig te reizen binnen Europa (15%), met flexibiliteit om dit praktisch in te plannen.Het aanbodJe komt terecht in een organisatie die sterk groeit binnen een constant evoluerende sector.
