Our Belgium Headquarter is located in Machelen, Belgium.ObjectiveFor our Sales Department, we are looking for a Sales Representative with a multiregional scope. In this role, you will represent Nippon Express by actively promoting and selling our logistics solutions, while building long-term partnerships with customers.Main Tasks And ResponsibilitiesDrive sales activities with a strong focus on both hunting (new business acquisition) and farming (development of existing customers)Build, manage, and expand a customer portfolioActively prospect and identify new business opportunities. Arrange and confirm customer appointments and organize Business Review Meetings (BRMs)Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including Key Account Management (KAM)Provide professional advice and tailored logistics solutions to customers and prospects. Prepare and follow up on quotations in close collaboration with the Inside Sales teamKeep customers informed about market developments, trends, and rate evolutionsHandle customer complaints from a commercial perspective and ensure timely resolutionLead tenders and RFQs with the support of the Inside Sales team and ProcurementMonitor and follow up on personal KPIs and report sales results to the Country Sales Manager (CSM). Collaborate closely with internal departments within Nippon Express Belgium NV and with overseas branchesReport directly to the Country Sales ManagerRequirementsProven sales professional with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industryStrong hunter mentality combined with the ability to farm and grow existing accountsBachelor-level thinking and working capacityExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsResults-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targetsHands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approachAble to work independently, manage priorities, and organize your own schedule effectivelyStrong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate efficiently with internal teamsHigh proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint)Experience with Salesforce and CargoWise is a strong asset. Good understanding of internal company procedures and commercial workflows. Market-aware, with knowledge of competitors and pricing structures.
