We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager (min 5 years sales experience) to work closely with our customers in collaboration with the Global sales team to grow and promote the sales products and services in the field of data driven collaborative engineering solutions. They will be the first line of contact with all new customers and will as well be managing existing strategic accounts in the assigned region. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships with new and current customers. You can and will :be part of the digital engineering revolution and help change the way on how future products are developed. generate new business and long-term deals with OEMs, Tier-1-2s and research institutes. establish mutual beneficial partnerships to bring added value to customers take ownership of the full sales process, from initial prospection to sales closure. gather all relevant stakeholders within the company to achieve sales goals. proactively execute business-development activities.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES New Business Development: identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and market presence.Key account strategies for larger accounts and specific plans to ensure revenue growth with all products and services.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE METRICSSales Revenue: meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets for products and services for the assigned region. Client Acquisition: Achieve a defined sales budget with new client acquisitions within the region. Market Expansion: Identify and successfully penetrate new market segments or industries within the assigned region.Client Retention: Maintain a high level of client satisfaction, leading to upselling and strong client retention rates.ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENTReports to the Global Sales Director.Collaborates closely with entire sales, customer success, marketing and application engineering teams. Fosters close, cooperative relationships between sales team and personnel in other organizational departments.DESIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEProven Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, in the software or engineering solutions industry.Business Development Mindset: strong "hunter" mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, especially in untapped or strategic markets.Digital Prospecting & Thought Leadership: ability to leverage AI-driven tools, CRM platforms, and digital channels to identify new prospects, build meaningful connections, and position themselves as a trusted consultant in the CAE domain. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, other European languages are considered a plus.Market Expertise: knowledge of the market, with a proven track record of building and managing client relationships. Result-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company. Proactive strategic contributions: Proactively contribute to sales and business development strategies Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and contribute positively to the overall company culture. Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field, and preferably an MBA degree.OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTSThis position requires international travel.
