We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing modern infrastructures across virtualized, on‐premise, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and secure systems from architecture to operations.SII is a European digital and engineering services company of 16,000 experts. SII is committed to a sustainable digital world and is certified as a Great Place To Work.This role is ideal for a senior engineer passionate about infrastructure, virtualization, and modern DevOps‐oriented environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConceive, administer, and optimize virtualized environments (VMware vSphere, Proxmox)Manage and supervise backup & restoration strategies with VeeamAdminister Windows Server and Linux Server infrastructuresDeploy, maintain, and support containerization and orchestration solutions (Kubernetes)Manage and support Windows Workstation environmentsAdminister network equipment (Cisco) and security solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto)Manage Active Directory, GPO policies, and the overall Microsoft environmentSupervise and maintain server and storage hardware, including Fiber Channel technologiesAdminister infrastructure management tools such as SCCM and checkMKParticipate in technical evolution projects and contribute to continuous technology watchEnsure L2/L3 support, perform in‐depth troubleshooting, and resolve complex incidentsContribute to DevOps initiatives (CI/CD, automation) is a significant plusQualificationSenior profile with 8 to 15 years of experience in system and infrastructure engineeringStrong expertise in virtualization, OS administration, networking, and storageExperience with VMware, Proxmox, backup solutions, and monitoring toolsSolid understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and automation workflowsKnowledge of security principles and enterprise network environmentsExperience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, scripting, automation) is a strong assetExcellent analytical and problem‐solving skillsAbility to work both autonomously and collaboratively in technical teamsFluency in French, with English as a strong assetWe OfferA challenging and varied role within a growing international companyThe opportunity to work with the latest technologies in high‐tech industriesCompetitive salary package and attractive benefitsContinuous learning opportunities through training and certificationsA warm, open, and empowering company culture supported by an international groupIf you are passionate about modern infrastructure and eager to take on technical challenges in innovative environments, we encourage you to applyLet's Tech Together
