We are looking for an experienced Project manager with strong expertise in digital transformation projects to support our client in the financial sector in Brussels.We are looking for an IT Project manager to assist, lead and manage several initiatives. The role requires a mix of team leadership skills, knowledge of industry and standard project management methodology. A sound understanding of the business strategy, the technical challenges and dependencies versus other initiatives. Report these elements to the appropriate stakeholders in order to ensure full awareness and appropriate decisions are taken.Your responsibilities:Direct, motivate, and challenge the project team, contributing to a successful deliveryManage the risks and issues, including the collection, evaluation, and planning of corrective and/or preventive actions, and monitoring and escalating risks and issues to the Sponsorship Committee. Ensuring that the projects delivery is made according to the schedule, budget, scope and quality.Ensure Governance and Prepare the Steerco with the relevant stakeholdersEnsuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.Prepare Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager and/or the relevant stakeholders.Your Profile:You have 10+ years of proven Project Management experience in a large Financial Services organisationYou are experienced in managing end to end several projects in parallel You have demonstrated through your career strong leadership skills with the ability as well to adapt your style according to the context and the different project stakeholders.These projects were managed according to at least one of the industry standard methodologies like Waterfall, PMI or Prince2, and have experience of agile delivery methods You naturally have strong negotiation and conflict management skills and you are able to influence different levels of management towards your projects targets.You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level.Experience in Financial sector and/or in the Communication domain is an asset
