Senior Construction Manager – Data CentresLocation - Farciennes, BelgiumLeading Construction ConsultancyPermanent & Interim Opportunities | Excellent Salary + Relocation PackageAll applicants MUST be an EU Passport Holder or have the right to work in Belgium.A leading construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to play a pivotal, client-side role on a major 80MW data centre project in Farciennes, Belgium.This is a high-impact, site-based leadership role where you will act as an extension of the client organisation, overseeing multiple construction packages and ensuring delivery excellence across safety, quality, programme, and commissioning readiness.The OpportunityYou will take ownership of construction delivery on a technically complex, large-scale data centre project, leading package teams and coordinating closely with contractors, quality managers, and commissioning leads to drive performance through to successful handover.The role is open to both permanent and interim (contract) professionals, with an excellent salary or day-rate package, and full relocation support available.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead, supervise, and mentor Construction Package ManagersDelegate effectively while maintaining accountability and delivery standardsPromote a collaborative, safety-driven, delivery-focused site cultureConstruction DeliveryOversee daily site activities across multiple construction packagesMonitor progress against programme milestones and resolve site issues proactivelyIdentify, manage, and escalate risks and delaysQuality, Commissioning & HandoverWork closely with Quality teams to support inspections and resolve non-conformancesAlign construction sequencing with commissioning requirements and timelinesEnsure smooth transitions from construction to commissioning and operational handoverHealth, Safety & ComplianceChampion a safety-first culture across all site operationsMonitor contractor compliance with H&S legislation and site standardsParticipate in safety walks, audits, and incident investigationsStakeholder Management & ReportingAct as the primary interface between the client and contractor teamsProduce clear, concise progress reports and dashboards for senior stakeholdersCommunicate complex technical issues clearly and effectivelyAbout YouProven experience delivering data centre or mission-critical construction projectsStrong track record managing multiple construction packages on large-scale buildsDeep understanding of construction sequencing, quality management, and commissioning readinessExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsComfortable operating in a client-side, site-based roleWhy Apply?Lead construction delivery on a flagship 80MW data centre projectWork with a leading construction consultancy on a high-profile European programmeChoice of permanent or interim engagementExcellent salary or rate with relocation support to BelgiumLong-term project security and career progression opportunities
