You'll own delivery end to end - from design coordination and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover - with a sharp focus on safety, quality, and schedule control.What you'll be doingLead delivery of HV and substation construction works to programme, budget, and quality targetsDrive design coordination, procurement strategy, construction execution, commissioning, and handoverManage daily site activity with strict adherence to HV safety protocols and safe systems of workRun project meetings, progress reporting, and proactive issue resolution across scope, schedule, and qualityOwn project controls, risk management, and reporting cadenceManage variations, delays, and contractual obligations with confidenceCoordinate snagging and commissioning with client, consultants, OEMs, and contractorsEnsure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specificationsWhat we're looking forProven delivery experience on HV and substation construction projects - ideally 110kV+Strong technical understanding of AIS/GIS substations, HV switchgear, transformers, and protection and controlDegree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or similarStrong stakeholder management - calm under pressure, clear communicator, commercially switched onA safety-first mindset with high standards and attention to detailPMP (or equivalent) is desirableWhy this role is attractiveHigh-impact projects in data centres and energy infrastructureProper scale and complexity - not small change, not "glorified coordinator" workA delivery environment where technical credibility matters and you're trusted to leadDiverse, experienced teams and exposure to world-class clients
