Experienced Buyer Field Services responsible for developing sourcing strategies, leading complex tenders and negotiations, and managing strategic suppliers and contracts within technical/industrial environments. The role combines strategic procurement, stakeholder management, risk mitigation and supplier performance to optimise cost, quality, safety and operational value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for Field Services
- Advise internal stakeholders and challenge procurement requirements
- Conduct market analyses, tenders and commercial negotiations
- Manage suppliers, contracts and the full contract lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and operational risks
- Ensure accurate contract implementation and follow-up in ERP systems
- Lead cross-functional teams across technical, legal, financial and operational areas
- Optimise the balance between cost, quality, safety, service and risk
- Master’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant procurement, commercial or contract management experience
- Background in technical services, construction, infrastructure or industrial environments preferred
- Fluent in Dutch and French, with professional English
- Strong negotiation and tender management experience
- Strong commercial and analytical judgement
- Experience with supplier performance and contract management
- Able to work independently and lead complex procurement projects
- Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with technical or operational teams is an advantage
