About Us
NFJ Labs (Non-Fungible Jewelry) is an innovative company specializing in fine jewelry and cultured pearls. As we expand our global footprint and establish new operations in the vibrant Hong Kong market, we are building a streamlined logistics hub to manage our international trade and consignment flows. The Role We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join us on a part-time or hourly basis. This role is purely operations-focused and is driven by our consignment schedule, meaning the workload fluctuates and offers significant flexibility. It is an ideal position for someone seeking a manageable commitment without the demands of a standard full-time schedule. You will be the on-the-ground anchor for our Hong Kong operations, ensuring that every shipment of jewelry and pearls is accurately received, processed, and routed to its next destination seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Consignment Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of jewelry and cultured pearls against manifests to ensure accuracy and condition. Inventory Management: Meticulously log, organize, and track inventory using structured spreadsheets and operational tracking software. Customs & Compliance: Handle all necessary cross-border customs declarations and ensure complete compliance with local import/export regulations for luxury goods. Distribution Logistics: Coordinate the dispatch of processed consignments, whether preparing them for sale and handover to local Hong Kong partners or packaging them for international export. General Operations: Manage all related administrative and logistical tasks tied to the lifecycle of each consignment. Qualifications Prior experience in operations, logistics, or inventory management. Familiarity with Hong Kong customs declarations, cross-border taxation concepts, and international trade compliance. Proficiency in maintaining accurate inventory records using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) or cloud-based accounting platforms like Xero. A strong eye for detail, particularly when handling and checking high-value physical inventory. Self-motivated and capable of working independently on a flexible, consignment-driven schedule.
