• You have at least 8 years of experience in freight forwarding and are fully comfortable managing export shipments independently.
• You have extensive knowledge of international forwarding processes and transport regulations.
• Export operations hold few secrets for you, and you understand the complexities of global logistics.
• You are comfortable managing a broad customer portfolio with multiple flows and priorities.
• You handle forwarding documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communication is key. You're fluent in Dutch and English. Additional languages are a plus.
• You combine strong customer focus with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• You remain calm under pressure and can easily prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented and confident in making decisions.
• You enjoy balancing operational excellence with relationship management.
• You're comfortable working with digital tools and continuously improving the way you work.

Job Responsibilities As a Senior Forwarder within our Multicomm team, you take ownership of a diverse portfolio of export shipments across various commodities, destinations and transport solutions. Unlike roles focused on a limited number of key accounts, you'll work with a broad range of customers, each with their own requirements, challenges and logistics flows. Your ability to switch quickly between priorities, stay organized and maintain control over multiple shipments simultaneously is key to your success. What you'll be doing
• Managing export shipments from A to Z for a diverse portfolio of international customers.
• Coordinating bookings, transportation, documentation, invoicing and final follow-up.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, carriers and agents.
• Building long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
• Monitoring shipments and resolving operational challenges before they impact the customer.
• Coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Managing multiple flows, destinations and customer requirements simultaneously.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable transport regulations and customer requirements.
