Freelance Opportunity: Senior Functional Analyst | Brussels | Hybrid
For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Functional Analyst to support an impactful ICT and Data project.
Initial contract: Until 31 December 2026, with a potential first extension of 1 year
Your Role
As a Functional Analyst, you will analyse business processes and translate business needs into clear, structured functional requirements. You will document both the current and future state of processes, facilitate workshops and meetings, and produce the deliverables required to define and implement effective solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure that the implemented solutions remain aligned with the agreed business requirements and established methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and facilitate meetings and workshops to understand, analyse and map business processes.
- Document business processes and functional requirements in a clear and structured manner.
- Produce functional documentation that can be directly used by technical teams for solution implementation.
- Ensure that the delivered solution aligns with the business requirements and agreed functional design throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to assess business needs and the wider impact of proposed solutions.
