The successful candidate will proactively seek out new tour operators, while increasing business with existing partners. They will also be responsible for conducting trade activities and booking revenue in the DACH market, with a focus on Germany.

You will:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Development Officer in organizing and overseeing annual commercial sales and marketing programs.
  • Record and evaluate market data on sales activities, including competitive information, statistical information on new market segments, travel patterns and sales trends, using these to formulate and execute tactics to meet booking goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the travel industry and accommodation partners.
  • Travel to cities within the DACH market to conduct product trainings and participate in trade
  • Provide monthly market updates and activity

for this role, we are looking for someone with following profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism Marketing/Management, Business Administration, or related
  • A minimum of three years' sales or marketing experience in the travel, hotel, or tourism
  • Exceptional relationship management
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and time management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient public speaking and sales presentation
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, high-energy, creative, shows initiative and able to exercise independent judgment.
  • Maintains a professional, diplomatic, and tactful disposition.
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Legal resident in Belgium
