Your mission

As Content Manager you will play an important role in the construction of answer building blocks for RFPs (Request for Proposals or Tenders) in the public or private sector and, as such, oversees the Knowledge Management for the Bid Management team. You will contribute to RFP answers, under the lead of the Bid Manager, by creating non-existing documents or documentation that you compose and copywrite based on content delivered by subject matter experts. You will also answer customer questionnaires related to compliance with government regulations and industry standards. To increase efficiency, you will take the lead on the Knowledge Management, managing, populating and enriching a library of answer building blocks for RFPs and compliance answers.

As Content Manager, you do:

Evaluation: help, under the lead of the Bid Manager, with screening and qualifying new incoming RFPs from customers and prospects to identify the effort that will be needed to answer these requests based on existing or still to be created content. Also looks at the compliance requirements related to regulations or industry standards. Content Management: lead storyboarding sessions, key review meetings, content sign-off and document production in alignment with organizational messaging. You coordinate and review proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, presales, marketing, engineering, project management, service management and external partners. You coach the contributors in persuasive writing and proposal of best practices. Copywriting and Editing: rewrite more complex technical explanations into easily understandable, readable, consistent, and commercially attractive output and create from scratch non-existing missing documents. The documents must be written customer- and buyer-centric. You define layout and use of key words, acronyms and abbreviations and help with the final quality control check. Compliance Management: stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards affecting compliance requirements. You coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, HR, Security Officer, DPO) to answer compliance-related questionnaires and highlight to these stakeholders and to the organization any risk of non-compliance. Knowledge Management: responsible for organizing, managing, and building out the RFP building block library and the content for the compliance answers. Define and own the architecture of the library and you are responsible for the lifecycle management of the documentation. You identify and rework existing content, create new content, and build out a library of easy to integrate building blocks. You schedule regular reviews to identify areas that need to be updated or expanded.

Specific expertise

Knowing how to articulate content into a comprehensive document. Mastering Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Sharepoint) Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g. GDPR, ESG, ISO standards, NIS2, DORA) is a plus.

Your profile

University degree (master’s degree). Degrees of communication, journalism, languages are a plus. Experience in a similar function or in marketing is a plus. Willing to invest in the knowledge acquisition of the ICT and Telecommunications Market A team player with strong and effective communication and writing skills, focused on the benefits for the customer in a customer centric style. Analytic, persuasive and able to coach Organization: create and maintain a building block library of documents, drawings, and presentations; create and manage document templates in line with the company branding Stress resistant: manage several complex projects at the same moment with multiple work streams. Commercial skills in understanding and articulating the customer business requirements. Mother tongue Dutch or French with a perfect knowledge of English and a good knowledge of the other national language (French or Dutch).
