Als ervaren Online Category Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de online customer journey van ons meest veelzijdige sportdomein, namelijk winter -en watersporten. Je staat in nauw contact met het marketing team, je denkt mee met het neerzetten van campagnes om je sport te laten groeien en beheert de online omgeving van je sport. Je runt hierin in feite je eigen online winkel. Je krijgt veel verantwoordelijkheid om je sport te laten groeien en hebt daarin veel vrijheid. Middels A/B testen kom je er achter wat goed werkt en in samenwerking met je collega's schakel je om de beleving van de klant zo optimaal mogelijk te maken. Je vertaalt de landelijke marketing strategie en stelt aan de hand daarvan een content strategie op. Naast het feit dat je verantwoordelijk bent voor de verkoop (resultaat) van je sport (winkel), ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor de klantreis na aankoop. Welke adviezen geef je, upsell & cross-sell en retentie. Als Online Category Manager zorg jij voor de optimale digitale klantervaring voor jouw sportdomein.

- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de customer journeys binnen jouw sportdomein;
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de business performance (verkoop, retouren & marge);
- Je stelt een content marketingplan op;
- Je maakt gebruik van marketingcampagnes om incrementele inkomsten voor je sport te stimuleren;
- Je ondersteunt de implementatie van circulaire economie modellen.

Wat vragen wij?- Je leeft de waardes vitaliteit, eigenaarschap en teamspirit;
- Je hebt ervaring met het opstellen van strategische plannen;
- Je bent analytisch en resultaatgericht;
- Je kan onze interne software programma's en tools snel eigen maken;
- Bachelor in een economische richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
- Minimaal 3+ jaar werkervaring in het online landschap en/of enkele jaren ervaring in onze Decathlon winkels met een sterke online affiniteit
- Communicatief sterk, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels; Frans is een plus (en schaaf je hier snel genoeg bij)
- Ondernemend van aard, met een groot doorzettingsvermogen
- Affiniteit met winter -en of watersporten is mooi meegenomen
