As a Key Account Manager your main focus will be to drive sales development across a number of clients. You'll work alongside the head of Accounts to build brilliant relationships with a breadth of clients define sales strategies, targets, programs, commercial initiatives and promotional policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the achievement of agreed annual financial budgets and customer-related sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for designated major customers. This entails tracking and analyzing the evolving dynamics of the market and customer base.
  • Delve into understanding competitor strategies, agreements, and innovations, aiming to identify growth opportunities that align with our objectives.
  • Be an integral part of negotiations for annual agreements on pricing and conditions, contributing to the establishment of collaborative commercial relationships.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and diligently monitoring payments, working closely with our customer service and accounting teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Play a crucial role in the execution of category and brand strategies at the customer level. Your contribution ensures that our efforts are aligned with overarching objectives, maximizing impact and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Be responsible for monitoring the evolution of sales volumes, evaluating the effectiveness of promotions, and assisting in the design of action plans to optimize performance.
  • Facilitate seamless interaction with other departments such as Customer Service, Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Supply Chain, ensuring that strategies are implemented cohesively and efficiently.
  • Participation in national and regional management sales meetings is essential.
  • Contribute insights and assist in communicating plans to the field teams, ensuring alignment and effective implementation of strategies at all levels.

  • Master's degree in economics, Business or Marketing
  • Min 3 year of experience in Sales in FMCG
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skill
  • Strong organization and planning capabilities
  • Customer needs understanding
  • Team player
  • Taking initiatives; innovative mindset
  • Knowledge of commercial and office software
  • Excel & PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English
