HR Manager Benelux and France

The role provides both strategic and tactical HR Leadership and overall HR services and support to the local Management teams on all HR related topics. It also supports the CHRO to develop global HR programs and directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all HR operations in the FBNL & Spain Cluster, provide HR leadership and become a leading figure to the building and scaling-up of the HR function.
- Being in charge for "hard" HR practices e.g. Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition/Management/Development frameworks and processes
- Develop and implement plans with management regarding talent planning and headcount planning in line with the business needs and strategy.
- Contribute to the development of organizational structures that support the business, promote efficiency, and build line management capability within the business.
- Work with line managers dealing with more strategic people plans and day to day people management, including performance management.
- Coordinates relationships with Personnel's Representatives within the Employee / Works Council in France
- Providing advice and coaching to management, ensuring legislation/process is followed, liaising with legal advisors when needed.
- This position comes with a dual (dotted) reporting line, on the one hand towards the Cluster Managing Director and on the other hand to the HR Director.
- You hold a Master's degree in a relevant field (HR, Legal, Business) or equivalent by experience combined to more than 7 years of experience in a generalist HR position demonstrating a good knowledge of the social legislation in France and Belgium.
- You bring a broad range of HR experience and are energized by the opportunity to drive appropriate change in a company and industry that is transforming and innovating.
- You have a strong background in HR including employee relations, total rewards, payroll, Benelux and French employment law, performance management, change, talent management, and learning & development.
- Ideally, you worked in a multi-site environment in a business that is part of a wider international group. You have energy, transparency, honesty, desire to deliver and are able to understand the business and its needs, and influence at all levels.
- You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- You have the mental agility to navigate your way through a business transformation, providing focus on HR and how it continues to evolve as well as the business, leadership and technologies that support it.
- You have the gravitas to work with the FBNL & Spain leadership, helping them to evolve and understand how they embrace autonomy to run the business on a local level ensuring that there is effective governance that fits in with the wider Group strategies.
- You are resilient and self-sufficient in order to keep momentum on the changes already in process and are able to lead further changes to come. You are proactive and spot opportunities to drive the right kind of improvements and are a visible presence across the FBNL & Spain business.
- You are comfortable with working in an ambiguous, changeable environment, and are able to build relationships quickly at all levels of the business working effectively with the close-knit FBNL & Spain Management team.
