We’re looking for a talentedData Analytics Specialist to join our EMEA Data team at Aliaxis.

The EMEA Data team has a target organization to evolve the same way as the data consumer needs. For that we are building up a transformation pillar to align the data strategy with the business & IT strategy. 

Job description

The Data Analytics Specialist will play a key role in providing supportto the organization by understanding the data needsto be able to: 

Design and implement data analysis models and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights

Enable the automation of basic day-to-day activities and regularly occurring decisions.

The role is based in Aliaxis EMEA Head-office, Brussels.

Responsibilities

Provide input from a Functional perspective for the development of Data vision, strategy;

Conduct research and data gathering: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources;

Prepare and analyses data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions in a specific function;

Identify opportunities within a Function to automate processes, and structures and implements the approach.

Requirements

A first data analysisexperience in a matrix and manufacturing environment;

Analytical and logical thinking skills.

A strong mathematical and statistical background.

Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases

Understanding of programing in SQL, Python, etc.

Advanced data visualization skills with tools such as Power BI

Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
