Description

  • Lead the Compliance function, developing and implementing effective compliance strategies and controls.
  • Ensure the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
  • Assess the company's possible risks and develop risk management strategies.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain an awareness of regulatory changes in the insurance sector.
  • Conduct compliance audits and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters.
  • Participate in high-level decision making as part of the management team.
  • Ensure ethical standards are upheld across the company.

Profile

A successful Head of Compliance should have:

  • A strong educational background in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data.
