**Head of Medical Sales Belgium (F/M)**You join the Direction Committee of our Belgian entity and report directly to the local GM.As Head of this recent organization, and with the support of 2 direct reports, you create, define, and deploy our Medical Sales strategy throughout Belgium, by reinforcing our audiological expertise, developing strong relationships with ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat doctor) and securing our compliance with regulations and standards applicable to our business.This position requires frequent travel across Belgium (>50%) and presence in our local office in Groot-Bijgaarden.MAIN MISSIONS1. Medical "Business Unit" strategy
- Define Medical affairs strategy: where-how-who-what to win in our landscape.
- Full 360° responsibility on all aspects of a medical approach: from the targeting & segmentation to value proposition creation and engagement plan definition.
- Deliver the plan by working with internal partners (hearing centers, regional managers, Sales Director, Retail Excellence Director, Marketing Director, etc).
- Accountable for the contracts and business follow-up of the hearing centers located near hospitals and with whom they have a preferred partnership.
2. Medical affairs
- Be responsible for identifying and building relationships with Hearing Care Professionals (HCP), including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional associations in Belgium.
- Deliver scientific presentations internally and externally in either one-on-one or group settings, support the centers in organizing local events with HCP's.
- Organize or co-organize the different activities according to the medical strategy: advisory boards, congress & events, staff meetings, etc.
- Develop content and materials to effectively engage with the HCP's.
3. Market access / Public Affairs
- Help develop and implement the market access strategy in Belgium and provide relevant input for the price/reimbursement dossier.
- Manage contacts with professional associations (CEUPA, BeMedTech, etc) and institutional stakeholders in general (FOD, INAMI, etc).
4. Quality & Regulatory
- Ensure sustainability of our compliance level to GDPR & MDR regulations requirements
- Provide Quality & Regulatory strategic direction, training, and support to hearing centers and head office.
- Ensure that our activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations and standards applicable to our business and product range.
- Plan and deliver the Regulatory registration / submission documentation required to achieve local market access.
- Ensure Regulatory submissions and claims are fully supported by product documentation.
- Responsible for the planning and hosting of both internal and external Compliance, Quality & Safety audits / inspections.
- Continuously improving processes in the company.
5. Other responsibilities
- Crisis manager: define crisis process following corporate blueprint, lead the local crisis cell and be the media spokesperson of the company
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- MSc in Biomedical/Pharmacy/Scientific area, or in other relevant medical scientific fields. An advanced doctoral degree (MD, PhD or PharmD) preferred. An audiologist degree is a plus.
- Over 7-8 years of experience in medical affairs, medical marketing or medical sales at a biotech or pharmaceutical company. Experience in the Ear, Nose & Throat therapeutic area is a plus
