**Position summary**

We are looking for a new Head of Sales reporting directly to the Nestlé Purina PetCare Belgilux General Manager.

As the Head of Sales you will be responsible for driving business growth in Belgilux, through increasing volume and value sales as well as profitable market share for our omnichannel brand portfolio in the Grocery Retail channels and customers, developing and leading the Purina short, medium and long-term strategy. This is a Leadership Position, sitting in the Leadership Team of Nestlé Purina PetCare Belgilux where you will manage a growing sales team as well as senior key stakeholders across Europe.

**A day in the life of a Head of Sales**

REVENUE GROWTH**:

- Drive the company’s local Sales strategy, taking ownership of sales targets and forecast performance to deliver upon agreed objectives and Sales plans for driving business growth, maximizing profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and lead customer negotiation strategy and execution plan for Belgilux, taking into consideration team capabilities and International Alliances.
- ** BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**:

- **Design and execute a comprehensive market plan, leveraging and optimizing exciting sources of growth while identifying new ones to further establish Purina in Belgilux.
- ** TEAM LEADERSHIP**:

- Lead, mentor and develop the Sales team's efforts towards a high-performance culture that aligns with company objectives promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- ** RELATIONSHIP BUILDING**:

- Build strong business relationships with customers, distributors, external and internal stakeholders ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Work cross functionally with marketing, category development, operations and finance to deliver sales targets and ensure high standards of service delivery.

**What will make you successful**
- Demonstrated performance in sales leadership achieving consistent top and bottom-line business growth results.
- More than 10 years of working experience in FMCG business including a strong understanding of competitors, current market trends, regulatory requirements, the local and international retailers landscape dynamic.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends. Proven experience in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, structuring, mentoring and developing sales teams in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with internal teams, customers, stakeholders and key decision makers across Europe.

- Fluency in French, Dutch and English.
