Manager of Strategic Accounts – Hudson Benelux Sterigenics is a global leader in comprehensive sterilization solutions meeting industrial sterilization needs in the medical device, pharmaceutical, advanced applications, commercial, and food industries. Position Overview Manager of Strategic Accounts, responsible for driving sales growth and retention across a portfolio of new, emerging, and existing mid‑sized multinational clients, focusing on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device segments. This role demands a blend of business development, relationship building, cross‑functional collaboration, and operational excellence to support expansion within these key growth segments. Success hinges on the development and execution of targeted go‑to‑market strategies that align with industry trends and leverage key associations for effective pipeline management, all designed to deliver growth with existing and new accounts. Key Responsibilities Own full accountability for revenue and growth targets across strategic account portfolio. Drive share expansion, pricing strategies, contract renewal, and risk mitigation planning. Build and maintain strong, multi‑tiered relationships with client stakeholders, including mid‑ and senior‑level decision makers, serving as the primary point of contact for all customer‑related matters. Deliver professional, insight‑driven Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), aligning client expectations with performance outcomes and strategic goals. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans focused on retention, revenue growth, client expansion (short‑ and long‑term), margin improvement, and cross‑business unit (XBU) penetration. Lead complex deal structuring involving multiple business units, geographies, and/or service lines. Oversee the timely and accurate execution of client contracts, including navigating approval processes and presenting contract metrics through the DOA process. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and market dynamics to proactively position services and solutions. Maintain accurate CRM records to ensure data integrity and enable clear forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management. Lead strategic cross‑functional initiatives through coordination of internal stakeholders to deliver on client goals. Profile Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of customer‑facing experience in sales, strategic account management, or commercial operations. Must‑have experience in managing multi‑site accounts with moderate complexity in pharma, medical device, life sciences, or regulated industries. Skills & Attributes Ability to build trust and credibility across internal stakeholders and external customers. Ability to “hunt” for new customers to expand the portfolio. Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, presentation skills and a results‑driven approach. Solid experience in negotiating complex strategic contracts. Comfortable working within a matrixed, cross‑functional environment. Highly organized with strong forecasting, analytical, problem solving and CRM skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a requirement; fluency in additional European languages is a significant plus. Able to work with different European cultures, their sensitivities and an international sales experience.
