Who is Polysense?

We bridge the gap between digital innovations and the green transition in production companies like Agristo, Citrosuco, Croky, … By deploying artificial intelligence where its impact is highest, we are propelling the industry towards a zero-waste future.

Polysense is one of Ghent’s fastest growing start-ups supported by visionary investors Peter Hinssen and Alexander Dewulf. In the coming years, we want to further expand our presence across the industry and onboard even more leading manufacturing companies. This way we strive to disrupt the industry and move artificial intelligence from innovation to operation.

Who are you?
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, IT or a similar academic degree
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
  • Professional proficiency in French or German (This is a plus)
  • Commercial and service-minded with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proactive, strong-willed, dynamic, ambitious, and results-driven.
  • Eager to use technology to make a positive impact.
  • Able to work from our Ghent office with travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Capable of handling stress and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As an account executive, you will be a key player in driving revenue growth for Polysense. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technological products and services and the client needs. You will collaborate with the founding team and engineering team in developing Polysense’s customer portfolio.

  • Sales Strategy
    • Develop and implement a sales strategy based on our existing customer and project portfolios and market trends.
    • Build and refine our sales engine to drive customer acquisition and increase market share.
  • Identify promising accounts and generate optimal leads based on the sales strategy.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and nurture existing contacts.
  • Utilise technical insights during sales meetings to engage and inspire potential clients.
  • Align technical expertise with customer needs to identify valuable use cases.
  • Use Case Development
    • Collaborate with technical teams to draft project proposals for new use cases, considering the complexities of each project.
  • Account Management
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing non-technical support during project durations.
    • Identify potential future opportunities and provide necessary after-care for clients.
