Regional Sales Specialist IOT Service

Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Specialist IOT Service (South Europe) will be responsible for sales of Telit Cinterion’s portfolio of IoT hardware and services in the assigned territory. The RSS IOT Service will formulate and implement strategies to attract new customers, maximize sales results in the territory working directly with customers and leveraging Telit Cinterion partners.
General Responsibilities:
- Design customer portfolio expansion strategies and initiatives.
- Prospect new accounts.
- Collaborate with existing distributors.
- Expand the local partner ecosystem to new System Integrators.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Build relationships within targeted accounts at all levels to understand customer requirements and build a compelling value proposition based on Telit Cinterion’s IoT offerings.
- Create, develop, and close deals in close collaboration with Telit Cinterion’s IoT Service Business Unit and partners when necessary.
- Ensure regular follow-up with customers after the sale to guarantee their satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
- Develop and manage relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue.
- Provide subject matter expert support as a sales overlay assisting direct or indirect sales teams in the entire sales process.
- Present Telit Cinterion’s portfolio offering, demonstrating deep familiarity with the company's infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.
- Effectively communicate and present to multiple levels and functions within an organization to demonstrate Telit Cinterion’s unique value proposition.
- Handle negotiations in later stage sales efforts through targeted customer visits to key decision makers, RFP response development, and coordination of third-party solution providers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets; achieve maximum sales by developing strong and meaningful customer relationships within the senior executive team at targeted accounts.
- Responsible for forecast and financial planning.
- Participate in events and industry engagement to position Telit Cinterion as a thought IoT leader.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide regular reports in a timely manner, including weekly activity report, monthly sales forecast, visit reports, market maps, and other reports as required.
- Leverage CRM system to manage all customer contacts; track and manage a qualified pipeline of leads and opportunities using company tools.
- Advise sales management on market conditions and Telit Cinterion’s competitors; gather market intelligence and product requirements and distribute within the company.
- Other duties or tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the overall objectives of the company.
- This position requires traveling in the South Europe Region which includes (France / BeNeLux / Italy / Iberia / CEE / Turkey).
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience within the IoT industry.
- Familiarity with SGP, e-SIM, SaaS.
- Experience working with IoT Services, targeting customers within the territory.
- Ability to speak at least two languages in the assigned South Europe Region; English is mandatory.
