Gate Gourmet Belgium NV is a part of the gategroup, the international leader in airline catering. Worldwide we have about 43.000 colleagues in over 60 countries where we offer our customers culinary excellence. The Brussels offices have been part of the group since end of 2020. However, we have been around since July 2002. Making us a staple at Brussels National airport. Currently we have about 470 people working for us in Belgium.Currently we are looking for a: Traysetting Manager (M/V/X)What will your daily tasks look like? Ensure the smooth operation of the Traysetting department's activities and make sure that goods are produced and delivered on time, correctly, safely, and cost-effectively.• Traysetting ManagementYou develop work schedules and staffing plans.You manage and oversee daily work organization.You monitor stock levels of food products and equipment (trays, trolleys, plates, etc.).You ensure proper preservation and appropriate storage of food products.You ensure compliance with and application of HACCP rules.You check that the final product delivered is compliant and completed within the required deadlines.You oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the work area.You are responsible for compliance with the unit's financial rules and audit criteria for all Traysetting activities.You facilitate and conduct audits and daily inspections (including safety management system audits, as well as quality and safety audits).• LeadershipYou have full responsibility for the Traysetting department, including recruitment, training and development, as well as performance management of a team of 25 to 40 employees made up of Team Leaders and operators.You are part of the Operational Management team, participate in meetings, and ensure communication to the operational teams.You ensure appropriate staff planning in the short, medium and long term.You are responsible for evaluating and continuously improving processes, standards and KPIs within your areas of responsibility.You ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to health and safety, food safety and security.Who are we looking for?You hold a bachelor's degree in hospitality or supply chain management or have equivalent experience.You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a management role within a HORECA or food environment.You are fluent in English, Dutch and French at a professional level.You have strong technical knowledge and proven experience in HACCP.Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and priority-management skills.Strong team management and budget management skills.What can you expect from us?A professional environment where quality and safety are absolute priorities.
