At HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe, we focus on the sales, marketing, and after-sales service of Construction Equipment (excavators and wheel loaders) and Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.) in Europe.

We have more than 100 dealers in 30 countries in Europe, selling our world-class machines and parts to their customers.

In total, we have around 160 employees in Europe, and we are constantly looking for motivated new colleagues to join our team.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join our Aftermarket and Product Support department in Tessenderlo (Belgium) as an Aftermarket Account Development Manager.

The Aftermarket Account Development Manager will drive aftermarket revenue growth.

Through close communication with the dealers, you will get a complete understanding of the local market, allowing you to initiate targeted aftermarket programs and suggest the development of new aftermarket tools to the EU HQ in Belgium and support the development of it.

You will support the dealer network in developing their aftermarket organization.

What can you expect from this challenging job?
  1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting dealer/customer relationships with a good understanding of dealer’s businesses and their requirements.
  2. Identify and pursue new aftermarket opportunities within the existing customer base and visit the dealerships regularly to discuss the aftermarket business and help dealers in building their aftermarket organization.
  3. Based on market research, price, competition analysis, and customer needs, identify growth opportunities and develop growth plans while providing feedback to management regarding customer needs and market opportunities.
  4. Negotiate terms and conditions of aftermarket agreements with dealers.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any issues, customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  6. Support in bringing the HCEE aftermarket department and dealer network to a higher standard by setting strategic (short and long term) goals and developing supporting programs.
  7. Implement aftermarket business plans with the dealers and define yearly targets, with close follow-up of those targets.
  8. Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions regularly to management at our HQ in Belgium and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Are you the new colleague we are looking for?
  1. Proven experience in aftermarket business in construction equipment, agricultural business, or any other related industry.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
  3. Ability to switch easily from commercial to technical mind.
  4. Some touch with technical products through previous job experience or private experience is very welcome.
  5. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships based on trust and competence throughout the whole hierarchy of the dealerships.
  6. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  8. Fluent in English and proficient in at least one more main EU language: French, German, or Italian.
  9. Experience with common MS Office tools and adaptability to changing digital environments.
  10. Able to present ideas in an open and transparent way.
  11. Clear reporting, focusing on the essence and adapted to the audience is very familiar to you.
  12. Willingness to travel throughout Europe (40-50%).
  13. Motivated by an international environment and enjoy working with different cultures.
