Function:

To support the growth of TML Ghent, we are looking for a WMS Application Officer.

As WMS Application Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of our WMS system.

You take care of data quality, customer and process set-ups and work closely with our key account and customers. You support colleagues with problems, provide training on the WMS system and align logistics processes.

  • A selection of your tasks include_:
  • Maintenance and optimisation of our WMS system
  • Ensuring correct data quality (e.g. master data)
  • Initiating projects within WMS (setting up new customers, establishing processes, etc.)
  • In collaboration with Key Account colleagues, ensuring customer contact ( setup, creating articles, adjusting data,....)
  • Analysing and optimising existing processes
  • Firstline assistance for problems within the system
  • Single Point of Contact within the organisation for everything concerning WMS
  • Training colleagues on the correct use of the system
  • Preparing and helping with the migration from the WMS system to our new WMS system.

  • Knowledge of WMS systems
  • You have an IT background with strong affinity for logistics
Or you have a logistics background with strong affinity for IT

  • Knowledge of WMS systems
Boltrics or In&Out (Centric)? Then you have an advantage

  • You have knowledge/understanding of how a warehouse works
  • Errors or problems? You are hungry to seek out the most suitable solution autonomously
  • You are always looking for innovations and ways to expand your knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English. A strong basic French is a plus
  • Furthermore, you are communicatively strong, constructive and patient in your dealings with customers and colleagues
