Wind
is responsible for Wind Market Sales strategy and activities globally.
Wind energy is one of our long-standing markets, where
ArmaPET Struct
is used in sandwich constructions for rotor blades, nacelles and spinners.
It was Armacell who paved the way here, by supplying the first PET-based foam cores to the wind turbine industry in 2006.
More than 200,000 rotor blades worldwide have already been built using ArmaPET Struct.YOUR TASKS:
- Responsibility for territory Budget, Sales and Margins globally
- Definition and development of the territory business development plan based upon internal product development, market trends and overall company strategy
- Engage and coordinate the qualification of our new generation PET foams at Wind OEMs
- Ensure global alignment and conformity of production at each PET plant
- Monitoring of pricing deviations and policies, and supporting analysis of market information and competitor's activities
- Analysing competition's product and cost structures for the definition of strategic advantages looking to increase sales and market penetration
- Providing regular sales forecast to ensure accurate production planning information
- Driving and supporting Armacells' continuous improvement program
YOUR PROFILE:
- Preferably technical studies or relevant work experience in the field
- Overall 10 years of technical sales and business development experience preferred, ideally with at least 5 years in the Wind industry and corresponding network
- Resilient and resultsorientated personality with strong negotiation and convincing skills
- Strong communication skills in English (any additional European language is an added value)
- Willing to travel frequently (mainly Europe) and regularly to the competence center in Thimister (BE)
