The EMEA Data team is on a transformation journey to align the data strategy with evolving consumer needs. Consequently, we are establishing a transformation pillar to synchronize data-related strategies with business and IT objectives.
Job Description
The Data Analytics Specialist will hold a pivotal role in supporting the organization by deciphering data requirements and undertaking the following responsibilities:
- Design and deploy data analysis models and visualizations to effectively convey intricate data insights
- Facilitate the automation of routine tasks and recurring decisions
This role is situated at Aliaxis EMEA Head-office in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute Functionally to the development of the Data vision and strategy
- Perform research and data collection: Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from diverse internal and external sources
- Analyze and interpret data to detect patterns, trends, and insights that can drive business decisions within a specific function
- Identify process automation opportunities within a Function and devise and implement suitable approaches
Requirements
- Previous experience in data analysis within a matrix and manufacturing setting
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
- Profound mathematical and statistical background
- Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and databases
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc.
- Advanced data visualization skills using tools like Power BI
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous
