Role and responsibilities:

Function Description


The CoE A&AI team is looking for a Data Analytics Translator with a proven passion for the emergent field of advanced analytics.

In your job, you will focus on the delivery of analytics use cases, driving their life cycle:

Ideation and validation:

you will interview partners, capture ideas, create use case idea cards, define the business case, get approval from the privacy platform and define high-level data requirements.

 Setup:

you will ensure correct translation of the business case into use case requirements, identify the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Dev Team and relevant partners.

 Production:

you will perform follow-up on the use case progress to ensure that the expected business value is tracked and delivered and follow up on collaboration effectiveness (for business, IT and compliance aspects).

 Industrialization:

you will conclude business cases, define and perform follow-up on the delivery scheme of the industrialization, promote use case adoption with end-users and partners and monitor the added value of the use case implementation.

You will act as a liaison between different partners and must therefore ensure good communication. You'll team up with the product owner of each use case.

The Data Analytics Translator will focus on the delivery of analytics use cases, driving their life cycle:

Education
Master's degree in in business, finance, engineering or mathematics

Certification
Languages Requirement English You have fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written)

French/ Dutch Good level of French and/or Dutch. (both is a plus)

Required knowledge / Experience
Experience You have at least
years of relevant experience in business analysis (preferably

in complex organizations and in the financial industry).

Technical Experience Mandatory


Good background on advanced analytics applied to business in order to be able to link business challenges with analytics driven solutions.

Must be effective in communicating with technical profiles like Data Scientists.

Preferable


Some background on IT in general in order to be able to steer high level decisions on the solution architecture and collaborate effectively with IT.

Some background on IT Security in order to have an effective collaboration with IT Security personnel.

Business Experience
Mandatory

Preferable


Good background on the Retail Banking industry with experience as business analyst to effectively frame the use case, business case and the business process.

Some background on GDPR in order to effectively collaborate with Compliance and Legal officers.

Soft skills
Good social skills with a strong business orientation in order to have effective relations with senior Stakeholders.

Strong communication skills (oral & written).

Teammate and actively contribute to the team spirit.

Can-do attitude, and are always willing to find solutions and new ways to improve.
