**De functie**:
Als Quality Manager verhoog en bestendig je structureel de kwaliteit van de diensten en processen binnen Operations, onder andere door inhoudelijke ondersteuning van de betrokken Team Leads en Process Owners. Hierbij wordt de Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cyclus gevolgd. Op deze manier draag je actief bij tot een efficiënte en procesgestuurde afdeling Operations waarbij de dienstverlening voldoet aan de verwachtingen van de NMBS-directie en waarbij de klant centraal staat.

Als Quality Manager zijn dit je belangrijkste taken:
Met betrekking tot verbeterpunten, in nauwe samenwerking met de Service Manager Internal Services en met de Operations Managers / Team leads:

- Proactief identificeren van issues en verbeterpunten binnen de afdeling Operations.
- Opstellen en opvolgen van een verbeterplan waarin acties worden gedefinieerd om de verbeterpunten te implementeren
- Valideren van het voorgestelde verbeterplan met alle stakeholders. Dit kunnen zijn: de Team leads, Proceseigenaren, management of medewerkers uit het programma die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de uitvoering van de ITSM processen (inclusief externe partners).
- Met betrekking tot Service en Support intake, het nemen van end-to-end verantwoordelijkheid ("accountability"), in nauwe samenwerking met Service Management en met Support Teams, voor het voeren van intakegesprekken, het toezien op de kwalitatieve uitvoering van dit proces en de deliverables ervan: het laten toepassen van het Service & Support Design Package om ervoor te zorgen dat alle ondersteuningselementen in het project worden opgenomen en correct worden overgedragen aan Operations.
- Ondersteuning bieden bij procesimplementatie of procesverbetering. Desgewenst zelfstandig enkele van deze verbeterpunten opnemen
- Aangezien het Center of Excellence de proceseigenaar is (zie hieronder) van Service Level Management, Service Catalogue Management en Knowledge Management, actief bijdragen aan de implementatie en verbetering van deze processen. Dit omvat ondersteuning bij de verdere ontwikkeling van de dienstencatalogus en het proces om deze up-to-date te houden, zowel naar de business als naar de leveranciers toe de verdere uitwerking van de OLA's, overeengekomen met de directie en de bijbehorende rapportering op basis van objectieve KPI's, het ondersteunen van projecten / aanbestedingsprocessen om ervoor te zorgen dat de juiste service management normen worden opgenomen in specificaties.
- Je biedt ondersteuning bij het definiëren van de vereisten, het evalueren van offertes en het project om de dienst operationeel te maken.
- het verder ontwikkelen van het overkoepelende kennismanagementsysteem en het proces om dit up-to-date te houden.
- het verduidelijken van de governance. Dit kan het bepalen van rollen en verantwoordelijkheden inhouden en het vaststellen van overleg
- en besluitvormingsorganen.

Als Quality Manager vervul je ook de rol van Proceseigenaar voor Service Level Management, Service Catalogue Management en/of Knowledge Management. In de rol van Proceseigenaar ben je de vertegenwoordiger van het proces en neem je end-to-end verantwoordelijkheid ("accountability") voor onder andere het procesontwerp, de rolbeschrijvingen, de procesmeting, de procesvalidatie en de procesverbeteringen:

- Proactief problemen en procesverbeteringen identificeren in termen van proceseffectiviteit en procesefficiëntie. Deze problemen en verbeterpunten bespreken met de betrokken belanghebbenden. De overeengekomen acties opstarten en opvolgen om de problemen op te lossen en de verbeterpunten te implementeren.
- Ervoor zorgen dat procesdocumentatie beschikbaar en altijd up-to-date is.
- Ervoor zorgen dat de diensten worden beschreven en dat er KPI's beschikbaar zijn om de effectiviteit en efficiëntie van het proces te meten en te controleren.
- Ervoor zorgen dat beleid, normen en sjablonen voor het proces beschikbaar en bekend zijn.
- Ervoor zorgen dat het proces consequent wordt toegepast, bijvoorbeeld door een periodieke audit/beoordeling, in overeenstemming met de procesdocumentatie en de beleidslijnen, normen en sjablonen die daarvoor zijn ontwikkeld.
- Communiceer over het proces met alle belanghebbenden over de inhoud van het proces, de doelstelling en de rol die de werknemers erin spelen. Dit moet het bewustzijn van de meerwaarde van het proces vergroten.
- Proactief en constructief samenwerken met andere Proceseigenaren en Teamleads om gezamenlijk bij te dragen aan het bereiken van de doelstellingen van Operations, en in bredere zin de doelstellingen van de organisatie.

**Het profiel**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Thorough knowledge of ITIL / IT4IT
- Thorough knowledge of Continuous Improvements and Service improvements
- Thorough knowledge of Service & Support Intake
- Knowledge of ServiceNow
