Practice Group as a Professional Support Lawyer
.
As a professional support lawyer (PSL), you are part of our dynamic and innovative Energy & Infrastructure practice group, which operates at the top of the energy transition.
The practice group offers a unique opportunity to work with regulatory, transactional and litigation lawyers in the field of energy law and public-private partnership in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
You will have a key role in the knowledge and learning development while working closely with the practice group's partners, lawyers and manager.
You are responsible for the following:
- Organizing and participating in internal team meetings and trainings;
- Organizing and updating the practice group's knowhow database;
- Organizing training seminars within the practice group and in collaboration with other practice groups;
- Drafting templates, memoranda and practice notes for the practice group;
- Providing academic and technical legal input for presentations, articles, news flashes;
- Providing advice on market developments affecting our practice;
- Providing substantive feedback on quotations;
- Maintaining Intranet & MS Teams environments;
- Involvement in innovative processes;
- Collaborate with your colleagues from the HR, IT, Marketing & Communication and Know-How department.
Your profile:
- You have a master's degree in law (or equivalent);
- You have at least three years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sector in Belgium or the Netherlands;
- You speak Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of French is a plus;
- You are a team player, proactive and have excellent communication skill;
- You are organized and flexible and you can manage multiple projects at the same time;
- You have good communication and editing skills;
- You are familiar with research tools such as legal databases;
- You have good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
