About the position
Engineering excellence at AXA Belgium is a transversal team that contributes to the software delivery of the product teams by taking a lead in the technology evolution, standardization of engineering solutions and animation of the technology communities.
As a senior technical engineer – focus API, you watch over the development practice of APIs in Java and Python. You work on solutions that target the areas of improvement. You apply a holistic approach, meaning you get to work on core technical assets, technology roadmaps, upskilling, software delivery automation, tooling, SDLC and reporting. You furthermore align with other technology experts and architecture to work towards the best technological foundation for the IT department.
The team has a lead technical engineer, with whom you will work closely to define the work order and approach.
