Job Description
As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will manage the Demand Plan for the countries in the Mid-Europe cluster which includes France, BeLux, and Switzerland. Your role involves coordinating, analyzing, and submitting the monthly Demand Plan for the products in your portfolio, reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for Mid-Europe.
This position requires collaboration across functions, where you will lead forecast discussions for your countries/products and support Commercial teams in achieving our targets.
Responsibilities
- Enhance forecast accuracy of the cluster consistently and share best practices to improve overall accuracy.
- Act as the main contact for Commercial or other functions at the cluster and/or market level.
- Lead monthly Cluster Demand Review meetings to update forecasts.
- Drive the monthly Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) meeting, prepare meeting minutes, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
- Collect and analyze business intelligence from market stakeholders within a 36-month timeframe.
- Identify gaps between financial plans and demand plans and take appropriate actions.
- Lead discussions with various teams to ensure proper stock levels and market coverage.
- Support product launches, new product introduction/deletion governance.
- Provide backup support for other demand planners and assist with the monthly Intrastat Declaration.
- Support team initiatives or projects at market/cluster or regional levels.
Skills and experiences required
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain with at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.
- Understanding of Supply Chain environment, GxP, and Regulatory constraints.
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Autonomous, proactive, decision-maker comfortable with ambiguous situations.
- Proficiency in IT tools including Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Fluency in English and French and/or German is a plus.
