Functieomschrijving Hoe ziet jouw job eruit als Junior Pricing Actuary Non-Life?

Je zal
  • rechtstreeks betrokken worden bij de ontwikkeling en het beheer van de producten niet-leven op basis van de noden en vragen van de markt (klanten, concurrentie & distributiepartner)
  • tarieven en segmentatie verfijnen en uitwerken gebruikmakend van de laatste technieken
  • het management team ondersteunen door het doorrekenen van de impact van beleidsbeslissingen
  • waken over rentabiliteit, groei en samenstelling van de portefeuilles
  • dashboards, verslagen, periodieke controles ontwikkelen op verzoek van belanghebbenden en evoluties interpreteren
  • het herverzekeringsprogramma mee optimaliseren rekening houdend met de risico’s en de taille van de portefeuille
Profiel Zo pas je perfect in ons team

Je hebt
  • een master of doctoraat in actuariaat, wiskunde, fysica, statistiek, burgerlijk of handelsingenieur
  • zin om je vast te bijten in één van de core activiteiten van een verzekeraar: pricing
  • kennis van GLM (General Linear Model) technieken & je spart graag met collega’s over nieuwe ontwikkelingen in je vakgebied
  • goede beheersing van het Nederlands of het Frans met een goede kennis van de tweede landstaal en het Engels


Je bent
  • communicatief en houdt ervan in overleg te gaan met de verschillende stakeholders (product management, IT, finance, management, distributiepartners,…)
  • leergierig naar alles wat met pricing, data en verzekeringen heeft te maken
  • analytisch, autonoom en resultaatgericht
  • open voor verandering en durft de status quo in vraag te stellen
  • business gericht


Volgende talenten maken je nog sterker
  • ervaring (< 5 jaar) als actuaris
  • kennis van R, Rstudio, SQL en/of PowerBI
  • ervaring en interesse in de laatste machine learning technieken
  • ervaring met dynamic pricing
