What you will do
You will coach the management committee of a large public digital transformation department through a structured change process. The committee steers cross-cutting challenges with large teams and high expectations from political authorities and operational directorates.
Your mission is to help the committee function better as a collective: individual and shared accountability, joint decision-making, cooperation between units, and a focus on solving problems rather than dwelling on causes. A transformation plan has been presented to the minister, including reorganisation, cultural change, greater accountability and clarification of roles and missions.
The assignment covers at least the following stages, which you will propose and refine:
- Discovery and diagnosis: individual listening sessions with each committee member, including the director general, and with part of the extended management community (around 50 people); particular focus on one department (infrastructure and operations); taking into account previous initiatives within the committee
- Feedback to the committee: sharing the diagnosis; proposing the next steps, adjusted with the director general and the committee
- Collective work sessions: one or more working sessions, including a seminar-style session; preparation with participants
- Anchoring and follow-up: monitoring commitments made by the committee; possibility of ad hoc individual support for committee members on request
You will work closely with the director general, who sponsors the mission and participates fully alongside her committee.
