Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Brussels, Belgium; Amsterdam, Netherlands .Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and cybersecurity in a customer-facing or support role. Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises ( , SIEM/SOAR, threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems). Experience in product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry ( ,Cybershield, ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.). Preferred qualifications: Certification in CISSP or CCSP. Experience with architecting and implementing security concepts in the cloud, including: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identify Provider (IdP), identity life-cycle management, firewalls, zero trust, secrets management, disaster recovery and continuity, SecOps, data loss prevention (DLP), or encryption. Experience working in the Benelux market with Public sector clients. Experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI, and HIPAA. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.As a Customer Engineer, you will partner with technical Sales teams as a Security and Compliance subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners in understanding the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve the business tests, engage in proofs-of-concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks related to technical security and compliance. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers in understanding the business and technical requirements, and present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud. You will have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. You will partner with internal engineering stakeholders to improve products and build solutions. Share in-depth expertise in security, privacy and regulatory compliance to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud. Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments. Contribute to programs in areas of security, privacy, and compliance with internal teams, ( , Marketing, Product, Legal, and Policy). Drive enablement internally to create customer best practices. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
