For the client, IoT technology is at the core of everything they do and their main focus is to developing effective end-to-end solutions for Automated Fare Collection (AFC). You are passionate about automated fare collection, eager to learn and work in a dynamic international environment? You have a strong interest in intelligent transport systems and you want to help us make a positive impact on society by making public transport more attractive?
They are looking to strengthen their Bid Management team, located in Diegem (near Zaventem Airport), they are seeking a dedicated and driven Bid Manager, who :
Has strong project management skills
Is deadline-Oriented, works well under pressure, delivering high quality bids within tight deadlines
As part of the Bid team the goal is to organize and execute the various bid management activities, taking into account commercial, legal, financial, technical and administrative aspects, to timely deliver high quality bid responses to the client.
Perform a first high level analysis of incoming customer requests and ensure a smooth and objective internal decision process.
Follow the 'Offer Process' including managing the bid documentation, risks and assumptions, ensuring that appropriate governance (approval process) is followed.
Organize and ensure the transfer of knowledge towards project management when a bid is won and awarded.
Strong Project Management Skills – Ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple bids simultaneously. Coordination of internal and external teams to ensure timely submission
Financial Acumen - Understands pricing structures, cost breakdowns, and profit margins. Capable of working with financial teams to ensure the bid is profitable.
Resilience and Stress Tolerance - Capable of managing high-pressure situations and workloads. Team spirit & sociability - A person who is sociable and has a team spirit has an ability to inspire, motivate and guide others towards goal accomplishments. Creativity - A person who is creative develops new insights into situations and applies innovative solutions to make bids stand out from competitors.
Quality Oriented - focuses on outcomes, applies quality principles, practices and tools to provide products and services valued by the customer. He/she seeks to maximise the value to customers of all available resources, including funds, individuals, teams, and information. Technical IT and/or financial background
Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
Capable of quickly learning to use new software applications
Financial and commercial skills
General acquaintance with hardware, software and data communication facilities
Multilingual: English is a must, Dutch and/ or French is seen as an advantage
Belgian contract.
