Manager, Fund Development

to strengthen our Investor Solutions team. Position is full-time, permanent and located in Antwerp, Belgium. Qualified candidates must have a valid work permit to work in Belgium.

Role Overview

As Manager, Fund Development, you will play a key role in fundraising and investor engagement, ensuring the smooth execution of business development strategies at Incofin. This position is instrumental in building and maintaining investor relationships, managing due diligence processes, leading RFP development, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

You will engage with a diverse investor base, including institutional investors, DFIs, family offices, and impact investors, acting as a central point of contact for select funds and mandates. Your expertise in private equity, impact investing, and blended finance models will be essential in shaping Incofin's outreach and positioning in the market.'

Key Responsibilities

Investor Engagement & Fundraising Execution

  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, DFIs, family offices, and other impact investors.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for investors on select funds and mandates, ensuring high-quality, consistent communication.
  • Lead the preparation of investor presentations, proposals, and tailored materials to support fundraising efforts.
  • Participate in investor meetings, both independently and alongside senior management, ensuring thorough follow-ups and relationship management.

Due Diligence & Investor Servicing

  • Manage investor due diligence processes, ensuring smooth onboarding and timely responses.
  • Lead the coordination of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and track investor queries to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure investors receive accurate performance data, impact metrics, and portfolio updates.

RFP Development & Strategic Proposals

  • Take ownership of the development and submission of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new mandates and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights, financials, and impact data, crafting compelling proposals.
  • Track and monitor RFP opportunities, ensuring competitive positioning and alignment with market trends.

Business Development Strategy Implementation

  • Execute Incofin's business development strategy, ensuring effective investor outreach and engagement.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership on market trends, investor priorities, and new fund structure opportunities.
  • Leverage CRM tools (HubSpot) and analytics (Power BI) to track investor engagement and fundraising performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong background in fundraising, investor relations, or financial services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, business development, consulting, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of impact investing, private equity, financial structuring, and blended finance models.
  • Proven ability to independently develop new investor relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
  • Excellent project management and proposal writing skills, with experience leading RFP submissions.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex investment and impact data.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, CRM tools (HubSpot), and Power BI.
  • Full fluency (both in written and verbal) in Dutch, French and English is a mandatory requirement due to the nature of the role (please note that we cannot be flexible with this requirement).
  • A proactive and adaptable professional with strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.
