This Is Not a Job. It's a Partnership. Koru Impact is a boutique strategy and transformation consultancy based in Istanbul. We help enterprises navigate the complex regulatory landscape of digital operational resilience (DORA) and AI governance (EU AI Act) in Financial Services and Retail. We've been invited to Web Summit Qatar (February 1–4, 2026). I'm bringing one senior team member, and I have one seat left in the delegation. I'm looking for an entrepreneurial Growth Partner—not an employee—to join us. The Arrangement This is a self-employed, partnership-style engagement for experienced entrepreneurs and independent consultants who want to build something rather than collect a paycheck. We don't offer a traditional salary + commission structure. Instead, we operate on a Collaborative Catalyst Compensation Model—an evidence-based, academically grounded incentive architecture designed for high-agency professionals who thrive on both individual excellence and team success. How It Works: 35% Firm-Wide Success: Your compensation is tied to the collective success of the entire firm—client satisfaction, project profitability, and integrated delivery. We win together. 30% Functional Performance: You're accountable for your domain—sales cycle efficiency, deal conversion, and partnership development. Your expertise matters. 20% Values Alignment: We reward how you work, not just what you close. Integrity, collaboration, and client-centricity are compensated, not just tolerated. 15% Personal Development: Your growth builds our collective capability. Contributions to our methodology, IP, and market positioning are recognized. This model is designed to attract builders, not mercenaries. The Opportunity The EU market is facing unprecedented regulatory pressure: DORA compliance is now mandatory for financial entities, and the EU AI Act is on the horizon. European banks, insurers, and retailers are exposed to significant operational and liability risks. We have a compliance engine that helps organizations turn decision-risk into audit-ready evidence. We need a Growth Partner who can open doors to C-suite executives and close complex enterprise agreements. Internally, we call this person a "Lumberjack": someone who clears the path and builds the revenue architecture from the ground up. Who You Are Entrepreneur or Independent Consultant: You operate your own entity (or are prepared to). You understand that autonomy comes with accountability. EU-Based: You're on the ground in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, or another major EU financial hub, with established networks in the Financial Services or Retail ecosystem. Native or Near-Native English Speaker: Your articulation is flawless. You can hold your own with Big Four partners, Chief Risk Officers, and compliance leads. 5-10 Years in Enterprise Business Development: You don't just manage pipelines—you hunt, qualify, structure, and close high-value deals. You've built revenue from scratch before. Aligned with Partnership Economics: You're comfortable with performance-based compensation where your upside is uncapped but your baseline depends on results. What We Offer Immediate Deployment: Join us in Qatar next month. No slow onboarding—this is a trial by fire. A Differentiated Product: You'll be representing a compliance solution that helps organizations demonstrate regulatory readiness with auditable, deterministic evidence—not just another GenAI chatbot. Direct Access: You'll work directly with the CEO and the core team as a peer, not a subordinate. Equity-Style Upside: The Collaborative Catalyst model means your compensation scales with firm success. Top performers in our model earn significantly more than they would in traditional employment structures. Intellectual Partnership: You'll contribute to our methodology and market positioning, not just execute a playbook someone else wrote. What This Is Not Let me be direct about what we're not offering: A fixed salary with guaranteed income regardless of performance Employee benefits (health insurance, pension contributions, paid leave) A large corporate structure with established territories and inherited accounts A "farmer" role managing existing client relationships If you need financial security from day one, a traditional employment contract is a better fit for your situation.
