We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Regional EO Business Partnering to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a consistent Regional EO People Partnership strategy and model that effectively supports the needs of our business. You will play a crucial role in driving the overall International People strategy across Regional EO, ensuring alignment with our business plan and priorities whilst supporting the long-term growth and performance of the organisation.

As a key influencer, adviser, and leader you will be responsible for the delivery of the People strategy, including the provision of a high-quality People Business Partnering service. You will be a central player in business transformation, workforce shaping/planning, talent strategy and bring leadership support and coaching to senior leaders across Europe. Working in partnership with the International functional People Business Partners, a key focus will be to prioritise strategic people-related activities that align with the overall business strategy, encompassing change leadership, talent management, and workforce planning. This role is also accountable for ensuring the People Function operating model is effectively applied in practice, including the brokering of technical expertise through the International People Centres of Excellence (COEs). As an integral member of the Insurance and Reinsurance Management Committees and the International Division People business partnering team, you will work closely with business leaders and other members of the People Function to ensure the delivery of a strategically oriented, high-performing People strategy.
- Develop and embed a consistent Regional EO People Partnership strategy and model to best support the needs of the business.
- Contribute to and drive the overall International People strategy in Regional EO, to ensure alignment to the business plan and priorities.
- Build strong and trusted relationships with Executives and Senior Leaders to raise credibility and to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of business strategies, key business priorities, issues, and challenges.
- Promote as a Senior People Leader and through the People Business Partner delivery, a high performance management culture to drive the delivery of business objective.
- Support business with Workforce planning and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support resourcing activity at all levels of management and staff.
- Collaborate with People Development colleagues to drive the talent and succession agenda, building sustainable people capability to support the business.
- Lead and contribute to change management initiatives, ensuring that any people issues are appropriately considered by the business in both design and implementation.
- Network with market contacts to gain exposure to wider People/business issues/best practice to raise awareness and to promote QBE Europe, SA/NV, Regional EO and the People function.
- Work with the International PBP team to ensure the required standards of performance are met; and that the professional and personal development of all team members increases their capability and effectiveness

About you
- Proven experience in developing and implementing People Partnership strategies in an international context.
- Worked in a global matrixed organisation
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with Executives and Senior Leaders
- Excellent understanding of business strategies, priorities, and challenges.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving high-performance management cultures.
- Change management experience, with the ability to address people-related issues.
- Strong networking skills to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Ability to influence and manage senior/executive relationships.
- Leadership experience; excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Exposure to complex multinational business - ideally from a financial services environment.
