**Team**

You’ll be joining our civil society engagement team which works to shift power to, and with, people outside the financial sector. We work across the spectrum of civil society, from individuals to organisations, focusing on education, coordination and community building. The team coordinates a network to strengthen civil society engagement on sustainable finance in Europe, working together to improve accountability and investment practices, and mobilise the power of investors to promote sustainable corporate conduct.

**Position**

The post-holder will join the secretariat for the European Responsible Investment Network (ERIN), a network of European civil society organisations, for which ShareAction provides the secretariat.

The aim of the role is to ensure that network members have the resources and support required to work collaboratively on sustainable finance campaigns and advocacy, while building a thriving community. Tasks will predominantly involve organising network events and webinars (both on
- and off-line), coordinating workplan activities, developing network communications and supporting member management.

In addition to general network support, the role will have a specific focus on delivering a capacity building and advocacy programme on EU policy in partnership with our EU policy team.

**What you’ll do**
- Support the team in relationship management and act as an additional point of contact for network members
- Undertake prospecting and outreach activities, growing the network while deepening relationships with current members
- Support the delivery of the networks’ annual work plan of events, joint advocacy, campaigning and research
- Support the preparation of network communications, both internal and external, taking a leading role where appropriate
- Support the development of a new EU policy capacity development and joint advocacy programme, focusing on community development and training design
- Keep abreast of relevant developments in sustainable finance
- Support wider ShareAction teams with civil society engagement, where needed

**Requirements**:
What you’ll bring to the team
- Passion for movement building and collaborative working
- Enthusiasm for ShareActions’ aims and objectives
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and with people in other organisations
- Ability to build good relationships with a wide range of people
- Experience in running events (like workshops or roundtables), meetings or delivering trainings, including online

Not necessary, but would be helpful if you have
- Project management training or experience
- Experience in coordinating networks or communities of practice
- Knowledge of, or interest in, sustainable finance
- Knowledge of, or interest in, EU policy-making processes
- Experience of working with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- A basic knowledge of data protection regulations/GDPR
- Knowledge of additional languages, such as French, German, or Spanish

**Other information**

Contract type: Permanent

**Salary**:
Either UK: £29,200 - £32,270, dependent on experience, plus 8 per cent pension (non-contributory) and benefits including a healthcare scheme.

Or Brussels: Gross monthly salary between €3000 and €3,500, dependent on experience, based on 35-hour working week plus benefits (holiday allowance, 13th month, luncheon vouchers, monthly Brussels STIB-MIVB transport card), 25 annual days paid vacation (5 extra legal days). We also comply with the mandatory cost of living increases set out by the Belgium government.
