Senior QA Specialist- Emea

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist to join our dynamic team working in our EMEA region, preferably from Belgium or the Netherlands. This role involves primarily manual testing of our SaaS product, help & mentor a junior QA specialist, as well as overseeing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough manual testing of our SaaS product to identify and report bugs, usability issues, and other quality concerns.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Oversee the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Mentor junior QA team member, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Orchestrate every release to ensure the stability of the product, coordinating with development, product management, and other stakeholders.
- Proactively implement best practices in testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance overall QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support current automated tests and create new ones to improve test coverage and efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- At least five (5) years of experience in an QA agile role or related professional experience.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Familiarity with Cypress.
- Knowledge of automation testing for UI/API/Load and Performance.
- Proficiency in creating test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both English and Dutch.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- **Nice to have**: Knowledge of Gherkin.
