About the Role
The Transaction Management (TM) agile ‘tribe’ is responsible for the evolution of the SWIFT platform in the direction set by SWIFT’s strategy, which includes facilitation of the SWIFT community’s adoption of a common platform to manage Exceptions and Investigations ‘Case Management’.
We are looking for a Product Owner, to facilitate and take accountability for the extension of our existing Case Management solution to support and manage new ISO 20022 E&I Standards and to define new business workflows enabling community adoption. As a PO you will work with a team (‘squad’) of business and technical experts.
This is a high profile, demanding role, which contributes significantly to the realisation of SWIFT’s exciting new strategy.

We are looking for a
_Product Owner_, to facilitate and take accountability for the extension of our existing Case Management solution to support and manage new ISO 20022 E&I Standards and to define new business workflows enabling community adoption. This is a high profile, demanding role, which contributes significantly to the realisation of SWIFT’s exciting new strategy.
What to expect
- Define product requirements for successful community adoption of Case Resolution;
- Coordinate product roadmaps and dependencies across the TMP tribe and other Product tribes and teams;
- Working with relevant TM squads, ensure E&I ISO 20022 readiness for SWIFT, vendors and customers;
- Define the customer journey from awareness to go-live, ensuring a comprehensive product and services offering that supports customers’ strategic roadmap for ISO 20022 adoption;
- Manage customer working group(s) in coordination with Customer Engagement squad

- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a wide range of internal stakeholders, external working groups, national member groups, user groups and clients;
- Facilitation and problem solving skills;
- Strong leadership, exhibiting end-to-end ownership and accountability;
- Strong motivation and perseverance combined with the ability to understand the big picture (risks, dependencies) and the competence to track the details;
- Proven ability to contribute in a diverse, multi-cultural, multi-country team environment and the ability to work independently;
- Fluent written and spoken English.
