**Context of the opportunity**:
To support the deployment and industrialization of many of the Group's new solutions (construction of H2 GigaFactory, steel production decarbonization processes) around the world for our customers, the industry sector has created a new activity: Industrial Project Services (IPS)
This team is responsible for supporting our development teams in the industrialization of their new solutions, managing the construction of these new factories, and supporting them in the management of these large-scale projects. And more specifically for the services related to the estimating, detailed design, sourcing, project management, quality insurance and construction of these facilities all over the world.
To strengthen the development of these activities, John Cockerill is looking for a new Technical Project Manager for the IPS Team.
**Nature and scope of the mission**:
You will have to design and develop our technical solutions in response to the needs of our customers.
You respect the schedule and respond to urgent requirements and requests from management and/or customers.
More specifically, The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the sales and the realization of the project he oversees during both Lead to Order and Order to Cash process with the following objectives:
**During Lead to Order Process**:
- Accountability to establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity.
- Accountability for ongoing representation of sales, support and service delivery programs
- Accountability for profitable offer calculation, submission, and contract management.
- Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions and think strategically with the customer
- Coordinate and respect sales processes
- Draw up the cost price, the technical bid and the technical specifications
- Checking of the layout plans and diagrams
- Defining of the extent of the supplies and services
- Defining of the performances
- Defining of the clarifications of and technical deviations from the tender specifications
- Updating of the technical bid and follow-up of the modifications of the estimate because of the clarification conversations and meetings with the subcontractors, partners, and clients
- Negotiation with the client to draw up the final contract's technical documents
- The promotion of the John Cockerill Group to all potential contractors and the promotion of your projects to employees, clients, and internal suppliers.
**During Order to Cash Process**:
- Ensure the technical management (accountability and responsibility) of the project, from obtaining the contract until the final acceptance of the installation, aiming to:
- optimize the technical results specified in the contract.
- stick to the project schedule, managing technical and commercial risks.
- manage the budget and optimize costs.
- Interact with the customer regarding all technical aspects to obtain total customer satisfaction while defending John Cockerill’s interests in an appropriate way
- Carry out sizing studies and equipment specifications according to the needs of our customers, be proactive, propose, if necessary, the necessary modifications to our customers by favoring industrial solutions for
- the design, choice, and layout of production equipment.
- the P&IDs and PFDs,
- functional analyses,
- Participate in the technical choices of materials and equipment: configuration, use, sizing, etc., Monitor of the proposal BOQ’s and estimates, and control of internal and external interfaces.
- Coordinate and plan the operations entrusted to each contributor (internal and external) with the project manager, while ensuring adherence to:
- technical specifications entrusted to each contributor
- conditions and specifications agreed with the client
- standards / procedures (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, VCA...) and technical notes
- Ensure the coordination and technical management of the technical team (draughtsman, designers, specialized engineers, etc.) as well as engineering subcontractors
