**YOUR TASKS**
- You will contribute to the scientific services provided by the research group to internal and external partners. These services consist mainly of quantitative element determination via ICP-MS and MC-ICP-MS isotopic analysis in a wide variety of contexts.
- You contribute to the teaching provided by the department, including supervision of thesis students at Master level and of practicals.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You have a PhD degree in (analytical) chemistry.
- You have extensive experience with the use of both single
- and multi-collector ICP-mass spectrometry documented through publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- You have extensive experience with the use of speciation analysis implemented using a combination of liquid (HPLC) and/or gas chromatography (GC) coupled to ICP-MS documented through publications in the international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
- You have proven experience in supervising junior researchers (supervision of thesis students at Master level and PhD students).
- You have experience with communication of your research results through active participation (poster or lecture) to international conferences.
**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**
- We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 24 months.
- Your contract will start on 1/02/2025 at the earliest.
- Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
