The Customer Value Proposition Specialist will support UPS Supply Chain Solutions Marketing department understand market and competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop customer focused value propositions with the objective to grow customer base while increasing customer engagement, loyalty and profitability.

The team has a flat hierarchy in which you will have autonomy and will challenge the status quo with analyzing performance to support ongoing activities as well as come up with new, fresh innovative ideas. Acting as a team player you will have a key role in support of your colleagues with data and market insights to drive business excellence and steer decisions.

The position is based in Brussels with direct colleagues across the EMIA region.

**The following tasks will be part of your responsibilities**:

- **
Marketing intelligence**
- Develop knowledge on the market through data analysis, market studies, desk research, feedback from Sales, customer interview, etc.;
- Analyze the competition and create competitor intelligence overviews;
- Study environmental changes (PESTLE): macroeconomic, legal and technological factors etc. that may impact UPS products and services;
- Develop and present 360o report on specific vertical or trade lane.
- Coach and update employees on competitive offerings, financials, pricing and marketing positioning.

Value propositions - development & management**
- Define market positioning based on USPs;
- Develop and maintain the segmentation and personas within the SME segment;
- Monitor market indicators and identify new market opportunities;
- Design offers, define the messages and GTM strategy to address those opportunities.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Curious mindset and able to collaborate cross-functionally
- High degree of accuracy, eye for detail and an analytical mindset with ability to understand data, extract insights and recommend required actions.
- Good prioritization skills to work on a variety of projects with limited supervision
- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization tool (Power BI, etc.) would be an asset
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. Additional European language (German or French) is a strong asset
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a relevant field. Recently graduated applicant with strong academic background and a first relevant job experience will be considerate.
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Masters preferred) in the field of Marketing, Business administration or Logistic.
